The youth group from church put on a performance: Let Love Go Round. It was a great performance, packed with hip-hop dance, choir singing, drama, and piano trio. The show took many weeks of preparation, hard work, organisation, and co-ordination. My friends practiced and organised the event. The show was created from the common belief and love to God. Keep the good work up, guys, and see you next year.
Took photo standing very close to T's brother. He was holding on to me real tight(!) No time to think too much of it, only commiserating him for being on the edge of the picture.
My good luck continues. Friend invites me to her house to have a business talk about network marketing(!) I don't think it is my cup of tea, and shall tell her politely in the near future. Lunch in Westfield Shopping Centre, consisting of six delicious sushi and watching shoppers carrying large bags from fancy shops. Oh, goodie. That beats a day sitting at home doing absolutely nothing.
Receive text from sister about coffee get-together in the evening. Meets T's brother again(!) He sits beside me. Wondering if there's any significance. Ordered Lady Grey tea because it takes longer to drink and can get refilled by small hot water jar. Get tested by P for thinking of six object: desert, cube, horse, flower, storm, and ladder. J, being an engineer, can't help being very precise about everything. Sister is always thinking about her solar car project, but her picture is full of creativity. M has drawn a green desert, and her horse has a macabre fate. Dr. T has her imagination running wild. Dr. J is protective of his minihorse. I have my cube as a treasure chest full of money(!) It is actually what I think myself is...really? Man, I am shallow, but then again, having a chest full of money is no crime, right?
Dr. T also has a psychoanalysis test for us. Imagine a wall. What does it look like? I have a thin white wall that you can run straight through. P has an invisible wall that you can see through but just can't get through. Dr. T has a very tall white wall. Dr. J has the Great Wall. This wall symbolises your view towards Death. Haha. I think you can just run through it without too much difficulty. That's interesting.
Fuzzy finds out about carbon nanotube from T's brother. We leave saying goodbye to P because she is going back to Taiwan. Good luck for everything, P! And keep in touch.
Dad is fuming because he reckons that we just want to go out having a good time in the weekend and not doing any homework. >_< I really don't know what to say to that. I haven't went out with friends for a long time. It's not like I am going out everyday...it's not like that I am not doing any work. What do we have to do to make him understand that beside being a student who works hard, we also need some social life?

Feeling cheerful feeling down
Lately my emotion is going through a rollercoaster ride. It may be the stress of writing the thesis, but I have not even started to write it! It may be sorting out heaps and heaps of results and worrying about experiments that have not been done, but so far I have been sticking to the the schedule and finishing things on time. Some results are not so brilliant but most of them are presentable. Some repeats are needed to make the results more complete and that's just normal. What am I worrying about? Why do I feel sad? Is it because of M? He hasn't done anything to make me sad. Or, is it because he has not done anything so I am sad? I don't know. I don't expect anything anyway. I should be happy. However, the emotion is going downhill and if I don't apply brakes immediately I may start zooming around aimlessly or staying at one place all the time. Not a good sign.
There are some things that I can do. Make this list so I will feel that I am doing something constructive. Actually, having this thought about making a list have made me happy again:
1. Tidy up the room.
2. Go to a garden of some description. Get out of the house.
3. Take a walk and forget about work.
4. Watch a movie. (Surprise, surprise, I haven't done that for ages.)
5. Play piano and sing. (Yes, put on your earplugs for the singing part. Piano playing is not so bad but if you don't like it, leave the earplugs on.)
Tonight am going to watch friends performance. Hope this will be the start of a better mood, and anyway, it is Friday. Exciting(!)

What are you waiting for?
Today is hectic. I have been tweaking the results about growing bacteria and exposing them ozone. There are several factors: bacteria seeded on plates (solid); bacteria suspended in either growth media, in peptone diluent, or in PBS (liquid); ozone applied in gaserous form (gas); ozone bubbled through bacterial suspension (gas/liquid); ozone dissolved in either water, milk or citrate (liquid ozone). I sorted out all the results so they are in a presentable form and printed them out. Stuck the appropriate graphs into the appropriate quadrant. Whew...I can't believe that I have done all these around lunch time.
Found out I don't have to demonstrate this week. YA! YA! But there are heaps and heaps of plates for me to read. YA! YA! Like M said, just treat them as the stars in the sky and that's not so bad, is it? He takes everything face on and that's why I like him. He has got a great attitude! The results look very promising. Found out ozone is inhibiting bacteria growth even though when effluent is used as a medium. Interesting. This means no matter how dirty the water is, ozone can destroy the bacteria in it eventually and inhibit the growth of them. This is not a big news, but certainly helps things a bit.
Won the volleyball game last night. Good to have friends back.
Have to go home now because has finally finish entering the data about milk about effluent.

Ice and fog
There's only three minutes until five so I don't think I can do any more work today. I have been busy running the milk/effluent experiment whole day and finally finish about 4:37p.m. Whew...finally can go back to the comfort of the office.
It is quite cold today. Cold and icy condition makes the window steam up as I drive Fuzzy to her early eight o'clock lecture. Turn on the air conditioning so can see where the other cars are going.
There's something to look forward to, though. Volleyball tonight. I love volleyball.
Went to the gym yesterday and was really tired. Went to bed at eight o'clock!!! Haha. So weak. Met K on the way back and he is carrying many books about Monteverdi. Wonder who that is, must be a composer.
Should I forget about M? But that takes time. I will try very hard on that.

I can't believe one of my pet died, but that's to be expected because it has not been fed over the weekend. Sad. Right now I will focus on taking care of my first pet.
Texted M about the upcoming Korean festival on 3 September. Our orchestra will perform Mozart's Paris Symphony, Egmont Overture, and asorted music on the evening. Wish my friends will enjoy them.
The weather wasn't so good in the weekend, but mum and I still managed to walk around the lake yesterday. Some people are playing model boats and we watched the race on the water. Holding the umbrella, we walked after the race back to the car and talked. Mum said that people who live in Hamilton utilizes the parks and walkways the most in New Zealand. They are close to us and easy to access.
Watched Return to Me. It is a light romantic comedy about a woman getting the heart from a crash victim and falls in love with the woman's husband later. It is relaxing.
Played some piano and read Spectre from the Past.
