My workmate's wedding in Tauranga was a blast. Our family went together and enjoyed the beach. The weather was perfect! We had a picnic in Omokora. Facing Tauranga Harbour, we can see a huge yacht. We went to Mills Reef winery and Mt. Maunganui. The sand was white and warm, and the ocean was nice and cool. I loved it! This was the first time I swam this year. So happy!
I have been working and staring at the computer this week. Using the microscope also adds strain to my eyes, so have not been looking else where much. However, I didn't miss the McNaught Comet in the sky. I saw the comet just after sunset. The brilliant
tail was beautiful. I also took note of the other stars in the sky, Orion and Taurus.
Work place is buzzing again with people returning from holiday. Some are still away taking annual leave and enjoying the summer.
I can't believe that I have done so much in such a short space of time. Just too busy to notice that I have done something. There's always something for me to do.
Our group will play touch rugby tomorrow. Looking forward to get out of the office for a while and enjoy the summer.
