Egyptian cotton

Saturday and Sunday have become so precious to me. Starting a new job is stressful, and I believe that the first week is the worst. I have gotten used to the rhythme this week. I have made a rough calculation last night and come up with the number of experiments that I will have to go through before Christmas to obtain enough sample. I am sure it will all be fun and games!
Shop in the afternoon. We have already checked out the advertisement so we know what to expect. I love stationary shops and hung out in front of fancy paper and tubes of paint. Then I have to extricate myself from the lure of exciting art world and go into another shop. Briscoes is always interesting to check out as well. I wanted to see why some of the manchesters are so expensive. Is it because the fabric is exotic? Is it because it is woven in a special way? Is it comfortable? Does it stay the same after many washes? We end up buying plastic boxes and tea towels in the end. They are absolutely necessary at the moment. The other luxury can wait.
Tristan and Isolde is a surprisingly good movie. It is very delicate, and almost seems to be made by a woman. I love it. The scenery is also great, just wondering whether it is shot in England or not.
