Rock climbing, Hitch and Easter holiday

I did 2.5 hrs of rock climbing on Thursday. It was such a great sport even though I have now got two big bruises on my leg. I will go next Thursday when it is half price.
I manage to climb up most of the wall, but only reach the ceiling once on the green steps. It was a great feeling to conquer something that I didn't expect myself to do.
It's a sport that you need to do with a friend because then the other person will be able to support you and let you down. Of course you can do free rock climbing without the axis, but that looks really hard.
I manage to lose my wallet and jacket on that night, end up texting my friend to ask whether they are in her car, but it turned out to be in the rock climbing centre. After two days, which is today, I drive back and get the jacket and wallet back. Whew...I think I am just lucky that I know where I lost things.
It's just like mum said: if I don't screw my head on properly then I will lose my head.
Send the library books back to the library, and because I don't have my library card, I can't borrow any new books. Watch the movie Hitch. It's so good. I love the movie, it's funny, original, and the ending is great. Will Smith is a truly versatile actor who can be half robot, half man, spaceship pilot, a student, beggar, cop, and a boxer. Cool, huh?

My experiment

I am doing a growth curve experiment today. It takes the whole day. I suppose doing experiment is more important than demonstrating. That's probably why I have forgotten about it.
Whew...it's so good that my work has finally come to a rest. I will have to come in to do more tomorrow morning, but after that my workmate will take the plates out of the incubator for me.
Cool.
I am leaving now. It's nearly 5 anyway.

Forget about the important thing and doing an important thing

I have totally forgotten about demonstrating this morning. I suppose it is ok because that means less money. However, I will definitely remember to go next time for the dogfish because it will be very interesting. I have never dissected a dogfish before. I am sure that M and D did ok because there were two of them.
It is the start of the Easter holiday today. I have decided against asking G to Arti's wedding because he is definitely going back to Auckland. I haven't heard back from him for such a long time that I reckon he has forgotten about me. Too bad. I will see a lot of sweaty good looking guys today in the rock climbing session in Extreme Edge.
My workmate has given me the first rock climbing lesson in the lab. Yes. Can you believe it? She taught me how to climb up the table to get what she is getting on the top of the shelf. Cool, huh? She is quite good.
You have to be lean to rock climb, but you don't have to have big muscles. I also related to her about Jennifer Garner's kick boxing technique. E said that you will have to use both your hands and your legs in rock climbing, not one or the other. This way you will not be tired, and you should be o.k.
I am looking forward to this rock climbing thing, sounds like so much fun. However, the equipment is not cheap. It will cost $300 to buy the harness. I think I will check my band balance before buying anything else this month. I have bought the cello case, joined the gym, and if I want to start rock climbing, that will mean a lot of extra cost as well.
It will be cheaper long term, though. I am sure that if I really like rock climbing then I will buy my own equipment. Maybe one day I will go outdoor climbing as well. Cool, huh?

Easter preparation

I went to Warehouse to buy a small Easter egg, an Easter bunny, two bags of Peanut Slabs, and a packet of various chocolates. I put them all in a box to send to G. He is going to be full of chocolate in Easter! If he isn't back to Auckland already. I want to give him a surprise so I left the box in front of the pigeon holes. Hope he will be able to notice it before Friday.
Spend whole day yesterday tweaking and changing the results. Also spend the whole morning fixing up the mistakes, then get into a meeting around 10:39 a.m. It's awful. My results are still in shambles. >_< I will spend more times on fixing it before carrying out more experiment, which is more likely to be tomorrow.
Danny called this morning about my cello case. I will pay him at his house, which I don't really know where. I will look up the map just to make sure, but he said that the street is off Garden Heights Street. I am not so sure about this as I don't really know Glenview well, but I do know where Garden Heights Street is.
Call Arti about the swimming suit shopping date we made long ago. She is out again. Just arranging her wedding, I suppose. But does she remember this swimming suit buying thing? I wish she does.
Get a notice from David about the Taranaki trip on 9 April. We will be leaving Hamilton around 8:00 a.m. on that day, and we will spend 4 hours driving down to Taranaki. I will have to get this cello case sorted so can transport the cello safely.
We will eat lunch with the Taranaki Youth Orchestra there, and rehearse music there in the afternoon.
We will live with the host families in the evening, then on the second day we will practice some more. In the evening, we will perform in a concert in New Plymouth, then we will travel to Hamilton and arrive at 10~10:30 p.m. I will text Fuzzy so dad will be able to pick me up in Fairfield Intermediate School.
Hope everything will go ok. Didn't manage to practice cello yesterday because spend 1 more hour at work sorting out the results. So tired and hungry after that. Eat 1.5 bowl of noodles.
Fuzzy and dad arrive home late as well, she spent the whole night finishing her Process engineering assignment. I remember doing that in second year. Always takes a long time.
Workmates are at lunch so I write this blog. Hope G is happy about the food and is not allergic to peanuts. I thought about that for a while but still decide to buy the Peanut slab because it's of better quality. Hope he is happy. I don't think I will ask him to go to the wedding with me. I will ask P. P wants to go! Even Fuzzy doesn't want to go, I don't know why.

A breezy Saturday

Yes, I didn't do much at all. In the morning, I got online and trained Colin in Dragon Realm for 1.5 hr. It's great! I didn't die so shall be on the way to level 30. Then I wash the dishes for mum after she comes back, which I should have done before she comes back from Frankton market.
I then read The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency. It's a great book that doesn't use difficult words to tell a beautiful story. I love it.
Listen to Elva and Boyzone's CD. Fuzzy comes back from work, and dad fills up the petrol. We have a nice lunch with mong bean soup and spring onion wrap. So full after that. Start vacuuming and doing the Saturday cleaning. See pumpkin and notice it's getting bigger and bigger everyday.
Practice piano. Didn't practice cello as tomorrow will practice 4 hr. Watch Country Calendar in the evening. Interesting.
