Telephone

This morning I missed a telephone call. Still don't know who called. Mum and dad went to Frankton with Mrs. Tsuei.
Fuzzyslowmo is working in the moring, so I vacuumed the living room when everybody is out. Mum and dad came back with Mrs. T and they checked out the garden and drank wildberry tea.
The weather is fine so mum is gardening. The Zhou family came to visit in the afternoon. Dad goes off to help Mr. Lee again.
We finished the blue icecream today. Talk for a while about Mr. Lee's house and his problems. Fuzzy did her biochemistry questions at the back of the book, and I taught her two questions.
I will start demonstrating next week on Thursday. Hope everything will go well.

Break down

Some believe it will never happen, but it did. The internet connection at the company breaks down and you can't get onto the Internet Explorer to surf the net. There's no way that you can send mail and things just don't get done.
I quickly leave the company and goes to university to search the paper. However, after the effort, I only found two and successfully print out one. I will have to download the other one next week because it is corrupted.
Today I take Fuzzy home in my car, and dad is at Mr.Lee's house, fixing something. Mum cooked fried rice and we have the left over salad from two days ago. Still quite fresh.
Forget about going to the seminar, but should remember next week. Will go to cello practice around 6:30p.m., but since G didn't reply my e-mail, I won't be going to his place.
Wondering what's happening to him. Maybe he just doesn't want to see me at all. >_<

Weird dream

Dreamt of practicing for a performance. I am trying to dance to the music that I can't hear, then tell a story similar to Harry Potter. I don't know why I had this dream, but it's possible that I miss having classes in university or high school. However, I had never been in a production in high school so I don't know why I had this dream.
Fuzzyslowmo said that if you have a dream, you should confront your fear in the dream. But this dream doesn't involve anything that's frightening, except the teacher, who is not that scary anyway.
It is very foggy this morning, driving prove difficult. I take Fuzzy with me to university and drop her off. She has a nine o'clock lecture. The fog is thicker in the city, and thinner as I enter the countryside. Great. The weather should clear up in the morning while I tidy up the Excel worksheet that I created for the bacteria growth inhibitions experiments I did.
Mum will make spring onion pancakes for this afternoon. I will take the bank account number, which I put into my bag last night before going to bed, to the biology secretary in university.
I don't think I will see G today, but if I have time I will pop into his lab to see if he is around or not. Don't want to annoy him. Just miss him.
Last night dad gave a speech about Mr. Lee and Rick. Mr. Lee had made a fool of himself by turning off the switch for his oven then spend $25 calling an electrician to turn it on again. He has also messed up his drainage on the roof. Has to spend more than a hundred bucks to fix that. He is a walking disaster. Rick said that he has bought a very good computer, but it doesn't come with any original program, so when it gets a virus, it will not be able to get repaired. These two guys are not very bright and still think they are smart. They wouldn't admit to their own mistakes and own up to what they did. Very weird. Almost like two children.

Time will tell

The weather is extremely well. I drive up to university to see what's happening on the Club Day. A lot of people are hanging around the Bank area. The Role Playing club is quite interesting because they have got people wielding swords.
I sign up for the student card and paid twenty dollars for it. I thought this card is free, but apparently it is not. The student card gives you discounts on clothes and movies and other things. Quite good.
Have free lunch with the engineering club. Nemo is the new president. He used to work in Dexcel, but now he is back studying 4th year in electronics engineering.
Meet up with sister and her friends. They don't have any lectures until two in the afternoon. Very lucky. One of her friend is the Ask Me person who helps the 1st year students or whoever doesn't know where to go or what to do.
Meet up with G on the way to the Bank. Try to find him in large scale lab but he wasn't there. We tend to bump into each other than meet at the usual places such as labs or restruants.
His knee is getting better, but the injury is preventing him to play rugby. Can't remember the last time I played rugby. Maybe I should take up rugby again? Haha, I doubt it. But then again, why not?
Got letters from Liz and Lisa about the 1st year demonstrating job. Will have to give Lisa the bank account number, which I never remember to bring.
I will go up to university every lunchtime to catch G, but I may not be able to catch him if he doesn't come to university. I hope he does come.
Talked to cousin and her relationship is going downhill. She asked him to marry her, but he is still undecided. @_@ Poor cousin.

Maybe that is the reason

Saw G the day before yesterday in front of the bank. Ask him if he wants to watch Constantine or not. He said that he is coaching the Hamilton Marist rugby club because his leg is still injured. Mum said that some sports injuries are permanent. I hope it is not the case for him. We are not physiotherapists or doctors so what do we know? I am sure he will be better soon. I wish that he will be better soon. I will go visit him this afternoon.
The experiment for 5% glycerol didn't go too well. The oxidation-reduction potential does not go up from 390. I don't think this is a good solution for adding ozone because ozone is not getting into the solution.
Jane called for a meeting and I haven't fixed my data and graph. Totally not prepared for this meeting.
Go up to university to listen to a seminar about counting small mammals. Quite interesting, but has got nothing to do with my project.
The weather is fine. Mr. Lee is making a fool of himself again. Haha. Turned off his oven switch and spent 25 bucks to get it turned on again.

40th Finale

University puts on a good show for the start of O Week, and the mark the end of 40th year in Waikato with a big concert in the Ground. The weather is great, and the turn out is pretty good.
The line-up for the day include Adeaze, Dimmer, Zed, Golden Horse, Kendra Johnson, Wai-Taiko drummers, and many more. The best act goes to Zed. All the bands stay and sign for their fans. Gold coin donation goes to CanTeen.
The food and wine festival is also on, so there's plenty of food and alcohol around the ground. If you feel too hot, then you can walk around the university ground then come back for your favourite band. The parking situation is not too bad.
The finale goes out with a bang. The firework is spectacular. I reckon the university should put on more concerts in the future so the students can enjoy the entertainment in a familiar environment.
These two days have been action packed. Yesterday went to CityLibrary and university library to return books. There are some shoppers in city, but not as many as before. Borrow two books from CityLibrary, and manage to lose yet another thing in university library.
Parents end up taking away the plastic, and that's fair enough. I think I should sponsor my own from now on. I should get one sometimes next month. This kind of thing bounds to happen.
Found three more books about atmospheric ozone in university library and entered them into EndNote file. It's growing by the minute. Hopefully will be able to print some more articles out today as well.
So many students! It's really hard to find a parking space. Better get back to work now.
