Two of my friends have came back to New Zealand. I haven't seen them both for so long. One of them organised having lunch in Barzurk so we can meet and catch up.
C was late. She was her usual cheerful self. She is working for a wheel company that make luggage wheels and other wheels. Sounds interesting. She has to shop for her friends in Taiwan for some wine and chocolate. New Zealand is famous for its milky chocolates. Ice wine bottles were heavier than the wine itself. Her job sounds challenging.
The other friend may start her PhD education in Waikato. She tried to find a job in Taiwan but think that it will be better if she becomes a professor in a university. It suits her, but it also means more study. Being a student, I know it's not easy to study and write the thesis for doctorate degree. Gives your grey hair.
It was a great lunch party, hope to see them more often.

Birthday party
The birthday party went really well. I prepared 16 questions, but end up not asking them. The party started slow with Fuzzy playing nice piano music and we talking quietly. All my friends came bearing great gifts and food. We exchanged our recent endeavours and got to know one another before dinner.
Had a momentarily panic about the food so send K and Fuzzy to buy three pizzas, but in the end there was enough food so we are left with a lot of pizza.
Each one of us wrote down three random things, films, book, or a saying so we can play charade. Fuzzy was in charge of the music for a while, then I take over. We pass the candy box until the music stop. The person had to act out the phrase so other people can guess. It was a lot of fun. Concentration, frustration, and revealation at the end of the game made it so interesting and funny. Some were easy to guess, and some were real hard.
I opened all the presents. I got a beaufitul red scarf, a card written with the meaning of friendship, a post-it note, white musk, vanilla (both from Body Shop), two candles, a photo album, and a exquisite basket that can hold the Body Shop product. Thank you guys so much!
Then we sang and cut the cake. I got the Harry Potter candles and Patricia put on the ring. Made a joke about the ring being evil. Sang the birthday song twice then blew out the candles. I am officially 23!

Happy birthday to all the people!
Today is my birthday. My sister said happy birthday to me when she is still in bed. Thank you, everybody! I am so happy.
Have tidied up the living room for the upcoming party. I will vacuum the house when I get home today, hopefully before anyone turns up. Two other people are having their birthdays today, diamond_storm's mum, and Mr.H's dad. Happy birthday to them!
Big news in Taiwan, Lien Chan has gone to China and riot breaks out in the airport. Blood everywhere and truly it is disgraceful. Grow up! Stop fighting each other. Show some maturity! He has visisted Dr. Sun Yat Sian's grave, and will meet with the Prime Minister of China. Hopefully he will bring back some panda? I don't know, don't get our hope too high.

Birthday preparation
Goes to Pak'n Save to buy food and things for Thursday's party. Obtain Harry Potter candle, chips, and other ingredients essential for a birthday party. Agree to let friend's mum to buy the cake for this year because she doesn't know what else to give me. Yes, I agree it is easier for her just to buy the cake! Thank you, Mrs. T.
Purple skirt finally replied to my e-mail saying that she is coming, but her brother is unsure whether he will or will not come.
Meeting at work. It is not really about me so I leave in the middle of the meeting to carry out an experiment in Lye Farm.
Watch Charmed, Cold Case and Medium. The angel of death visits the three sisters because they have caused a delay in the grand design. Piper has to die to collect the souls. A demon has to kill all his living relatives in order to become a human. Paige nearly died, Phoebe exchanges her soul with the demon's in the end. Les, Phoebe's new boyfriend comes to see her and they are together now.
Matthew Adams joined a cult and is dead after a kidnap. Did the cult leader kill him? Or was it his father? Or was it someone else? Zero hour is when the members of the cult get rid of their fathers. Matt knows this is wrong so he confronts Allison. Allison poisoned him.
The medium thinks that she is pregnant. She shakes hands with a good Samaritan and discovers that he has killed many women. However, as the story unfolds, the whole thing will happen in the future because the car registration number is only at F right now, the number that the medium gets starts with Q, indicating the whole thing will happen in the future, seven to ten years from now. She warns the girl who is going to get killed, and the man who is the murderer.
Great drama, but the television is not very clear.

Gisborne and ANZAC day
This weekend we have gone the extra mile to the far away city of Gisborne. The weather is good in the morning, and rain in the afternoon. It is a lot of fun to sing in the car. Bic Ranga, Brooke Fraser, Maroon 5, and many more. Maiqing also enlighten me on the theory of inductive turkey. You can never really know the meaning of life, otherwise you will become an inductive turkey.
We have lunch around the white pine tree forest (Kahikatea). See a large green bird. The tree looks very healthy and happy. Mum loses her slipper in the lunch area.
We walk on the Gisborne beach, but it is very cold so we quickly leave the place. Have a stroll on Gisborne street, but most of the shops are closed so we didn't really shop at all. See some good clothes in Pagani. Maybe I should check it out in Hamilton. The skirt looks really pretty.
We buy a baked chicken and some bread in Pak'n Save. Mum buys some fruit. When we are filling up petrol, the three of us also buy BK Whopper and Whopper Junior. It is a great dinner. We find the slipper on the way back and reach home at 10:40p.m.
Everyone is tired from the long trip so wake up late on ANZAC Day. Mum and dad go to Mitre 10 to buy some cheap tools in the afternoon. Fuzzy goes online to download pictures from her friend. I knit, and read Mr. Loverman, a novel that is not very good. I find it hard to concentrate. Have some rest in the afternoon.
We watch The Mummy Return in the evening. It's an interesting film.
