Rugby world cup 2011

Elizabethtown is a movie about soul searching. It is about a man's failure in a company, and his happy meeting with a flight attendant who is a little bit different to all the other girls in the world. It is about a man who has never taken a road trip (poor him), but then again, Orlando Bloom wouldn't have taken a road trip in America, he is British! It is a nice movie to watch, a little bit sad, but it is alright.
Wow! We will host the rugby worldcup in 2011! It is a big news! The prime minister and Umaga were both there to make speeches. Some people are so happy that they are going straight to pubs today and not to work. I guess I am not that fanatical, but I am very happy that we will host the game. It will bring economic growth, and many people to see the game in our town. They will come and see how beautiful New Zealand is. If we win the worldcup then, it will be even better!
Last night we watched The Missing. It is a Western story about a woman who lost a daughter to the Indians, who are taking her to Mexico to sell. It is a story about family. The flood was scary. I don't really like the wizard in this movie. He is very violent and fearsome. The scenary is good, and it is good to see they are making more Western stories now.

The Interpreter

Completed the second lot of experiment yesterday. Hopefully this would be the last set of experiment and I will read the plates on Friday. Took city library books back to the library and borrowed three more Amelia Peabody books. They are very interesting read. I have already ploughed into Lord of the Silent, the book after He Shall Thunder in the Sky. Adventure, intrigue and mystery will ensue.
We went to White Angel's house. She is working in Christchurch now. God bless her. I am sure she will be fine. We borrowed another Korean TV series about a girl working in the palace as a chef and later as a doctor. Fuzzy also borrowed The Interpreter and The Missing.
We watched The Interpreter in the evening. It is an interesting movie. I like it, because Sylvia Broome is a strong and brave woman.

Away with the old come with the new

The weather was miserable yesteryday, and I had to bring the thick duvet back to my bed. My old bed cover had its best day and was broken, so I changed it to a blue one. ^_^
The weather didn't dampen my spirit. I grew the bacteria for today's experiment and went to university to check my mailbox. Filled up boxes of pipette tips in the lab as well.
The radio was acting strangely, sometimes it turned itself off, and sometimes it turned itself on. It was weird. My workmate turned the machine off and turned it on again, then it was all better.
In the evening, I watched X-Men again with Fuzzy. It is a good movie. I really like Rogue/Marie. She is very precocious and cute.
Hope the experiments that I have done today would go okay. I will know tomorrow.

Negative ions

Mum said that there are negative ions around the beach. Negative ions are the big thing right now. You can wear clothes that have negative ions to avoid aging.
We drove to where Nikau walk was, but now it had been converted back to farmland. The river was still there. The scenary was still fine, but we couldn't take the walk.
Dad decided that we will go to Raglan. Wainui Beach is long and spacious. We walk on the white beach, enjoying the view and the wind. Dad kept losing his hat on the way back. It was really funny. We sat on a driftwood and had some bananas.
We also made a short stop in the camp site. Sat on the swing for a while.
Watched "How to lose a guy in 10 days" in the evening. Also, read "He Shall Thunder in the Sky" in the morning.
