The World's Fastest Indian

I have been reading a book called The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It is a book about Dracula and his history, and takes you to see the old cities across Europe trying to help find Professor Rossi and the narattor's father, Paul. One thing to note is that the narrator never tells us what her name is. I found that the writer wanted to develop the character without giving her a name in an interview.
I went to watch The World's Fastest Indian on Friday. It was a very moving and funny movie. It showed how a kiwi would go about doing something that other people doubt that he would be able to accomplish. It was really cool. Old man riding an old bike trying to break the speed record without protective equipment because he was short of money. Kiwi ingenuity through and through.
Still watching The Way of Business. It is getting very dramatic. One of the businessman's associate was a revolutionary. Even though his revolution failed, a lot of people died for his ideal.
The Chinese music and dance festival was very entertaining. I liked the calligraphy section where the artist and the writing master wrote eight different styles of the word dragon in Chinese. The steel fan dance was also impressive.
The next big thing is to prepare the Christmas cards to send away overseas. I will have to get my good pen out and put down some verses for my friends.
