The weather is relatively fine this weekend. I went inline skating for the second time in the park. I could manage to skate without holding onto the railing. It's a great feeling! Found out that it is harder to skate on a smooth surface because it is very slippery.
Walked around the river on the way back to get exercise. The bamboo around the river had been cut back and tidied up.
Saturday evening All Black met the Wallabies for the Tri-Nations tournament for the first time. Won the game! However, Dan Carter was injured in the game and we would know the situation better today or tomorrow. Looked very painful.
The movie wasn't very interesting so we rested early. Sunday's weather is even better. I stayed home and practiced cello when Mrs. L came to visit. They brought gooseberry plants and chilli for mum. We talked about cutting open the big pumpkin, but that will require a lot of organisation on cooking or giving some away.
Finished reading Midnight in Marrakesh. It is a good translated novel. The story is quite well written and set in different countries. However, some words are still lost in translation.
Watched Maid in Manhattan. J.Lo and Ralph Finnes were okay, but just didn't have that chemistry!! The boy and the concierge were great, though.
