I put up the best cuisine that I can whip up last Thursday after Anzac Day holiday. I made a chocolate brownie cake, cheese cake, showmai and pearl meatballs. I went out drinking with my workmates and listened to my boss telling us where he is from after work. It was a lot of fun.
I invited my girlfriends for the Saturday party. All of us went for dinner in town, and the food was nice. I felt full after a while, but at the time, felt kind of ripped off because it was not a big portion for the price I paid.
I drove back to MQ's place for the party. We had chocolate log and boysenberry cheese cake. Anchi was there for a short while, and before Naina left, I opened all my presents. We told fortunes using Tarot cards, and I sang two songs on top of MQ's mattress. I have already eatten an 1/8 of the strawberry and rhubarb jam Ai sent me. It is so yummy!
Erik told a joke about his flatmate (a girl) going to America. She said "Sweet as" to her boss, and he thought she said "Sweet ass". Sweet as just meant everything is fine, but American don't know this expression that we use in New Zealand. So, the language has definitely diverted into many different kinds over the world now.
I better get to work now. My sample is defrosting.
