Party....Party hard....Party to the MAX

Yes. It's that time of the year again! It's the end of the Chinese Year, and welcome to the Year of Rooster!
We send away the old year with a nice party, and get stuck in with the new one. Dad organised the whole event so he had to leave the house around 1:00p.m. in the afternoon. He took two of his friends to help him put up the decoration and the sound equipment. My sister is having a small get-together when we are partying in the city. I believe both of her friends came and they had a great time. ^^
I started cooking right after having breakfast. Potato salad it is. I am getting better and better at making it. 2 kg of potato boiled in salt water for 20 minutes. Chop/slice: 2 onions, 2 apples, cucumber, 200g of ham. Stir: 6x2 olive oil, 2 table spoon of wine vinegar, pepper, salt, 2 egg yolks, chopped onion, and 250g of cream from Pak'n Save. Stir the cream into the potato and other ingredient. Cover with gladwrap and refridgerate.
Mum made curry spaghetti and Chinse cabbage. We all got our beauty sleep before 5. Mum had to make dad and his friend sandwitches because they may be hungry after all the work.
I put on "Brown" make-up. It's supposed to be yellow to go with my skirt, but my eyes end up looking a little bit on the brown side. Sister's friend show up early and said that my cheeks are very pink. So I end up looking pink instead of yellow. Haha.
Mum and I leave the house five minutes before 5. Doing pretty well. Meet up with purple skirt. She is wearing a nice pair of butterfly earrings! Very pretty. Her black number is very suitable for the occasion. Stylish. Tofushark and her boyfriend are also dressed nicely. She wears a green undershirt and a white top. Jeans, expensive jeans.
It took the whole hour for us to take them to see the displays put up by the sewing class and some artwork related to the New Year. Some of the VIP just want to sit and wait for the celebration to start. Fair enough. It's so warm inside. The stilted air is choking everybody. The only habitable place is where we prepare for the performance.
Such a shame that I missed most of the piano performance, but apprently the guy sounded better than the girl. Anyway, I think it was a great thing that people were playing music at the beginning of the party. Just hope that people would respect the player and quiet down.
Dinner is exquisite. I love all the food. Party goer crowded around the table with food, but not much else happened. Dad commented that some young girls were really loud in the party. I didn't notice, too busy eating and talking to purple skirt and doctor.
Doctor is doing general medicine for her internship. Her brother is studying double E in Auckland University. She will be in one place for three months until the end of her internship. Got her mobile number now so we may get together sometimes.
We can always organise a movie outing for purple skirt, H, H's brother, doctor and doctor's brother. That's only if we can all find a suitable time when noone is busy. That's gonna be hard. However, I am sure we can find a time before 12 Feb. H is going to leave NZ for OZ on the 12th.
H seems to be enjoying the time of his life. He's got a girlfriend and now is living with his parents for the New Year period. Purple skirt is trying to get into real estate business. She will partner with K. They may get into Ray White.
We didn't get any prizes. However, even if we did, we would give the prizes out for other people to draw.
So tired after the whole thing. Nearly fell asleep on the sofa. Mum didn't know that dad put his keys in jeans and I transported back home before dad could start the car.
At the same time, sister noticed that our young neighbour was naked in his bedroom. Not wearing a shirt. @_@ Haha. Very good view from where she was sitting.
Leave house, give dad his keys. Come home and talk for an hour. Happy. Sleep until this morning.
